Salary: $200 stipend bi-weekly
Qualifications: The successful candidate will be pursuing a bachelor s
degree in recreation, sports management, or leisure services or a master s
degree in a similarly related field, with a minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher.
Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task. Must have strong
communication and organizational skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft
Office Suite. Must also be 21 years of age or older and have a valid Illinois
driver s license and provide own transportation. A full-time, flexible
schedule is required due to some evening and weekend hours.
Duties: The Fox Valley Park District internship will cover the
following areas: Aquatic Management and Maintenance, Fitness Management,
Facility Management, Tennis Operations, Outdoor Education, Athletics, Field
Turf Maintenance, Special Events, and Recreation programming. An intern will
need to complete a major project during their experience to be successfully
completed by the end of the internship.

Subcontractor Gymnastic/Tumbling Instructor Needed
In Upper Arlington, OH
A fun and exciting opportunity is available for people who
love teaching children and enjoy fitness! As a subcontractor for Tumblin4Kids
you will work as a Tumbling Instructor with children ages 2-12 years old
teaching them that exercise and movement is fun. Classes will be located at
various daycares and recreation centers in Upper Arlington and Central Ohio
and will cover all four Olympic gymnastic sports. The facilities where we are
currently contracted are morning hours. Great opportunity for someone with a
background in gymnastics or cheerleading! Pay starts at $20 per hour and does
not include set up or tear down. Equipment and training will be provided.
